1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Beauta booking platform and any gift card purchases made through it. By completing a purchase or booking you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Gift Card Purchases

Gift cards are sold by individual salons that use the Beauta platform. When you purchase a gift card you are entering into an agreement with that salon, not with Beauta directly. Beauta acts solely as the technology provider facilitating the transaction.

• Gift cards are non-refundable once issued, except where required by applicable law.
• Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
• The redemption value, purchase price, and expiry period are set by the salon and are clearly displayed before checkout.
• Gift cards expire on the date shown at the time of purchase. Expired gift cards cannot be redeemed or extended.
• Gift card codes are single-use and can only be redeemed once per card.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Beauta does not store your card details. By submitting a payment you agree to Stripe's Services Agreement.

4. Appointments & Bookings

• Bookings are subject to the salon's availability and cancellation policy, which is displayed on the booking page.
• Cancellations made within the notice period specified by the salon may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of any deposit paid.
• Where you have paid online, a full or partial refund may be issued at the salon's discretion in accordance with their policy.
• Beauta is not liable for any disputes arising from a salon's cancellation or rescheduling decisions.

5. Privacy

Information you provide (name, email, phone number) is shared with the salon to fulfil your booking or gift card. Beauta processes this data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beauta's liability in connection with any booking or gift card transaction is limited to the amount paid for that transaction. Beauta is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to These Terms

Beauta reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
